Anal sinusitis and anal papillitis

Anal sinusitis (anal sinusitis), also known as anal cryptitis, is an inflammatory lesion in the anal sinus and anal glands. It is an important potentially infectious lesion. About 85% of anorectal lesions are related to anal sinus infection. Anal papilla, also known as anal papilla hypertrophy, is an inflammatory proliferative lesion of chronic fibrosis of the anal papilla. Often accompanied by anal sinusitis, it is a common complication of anal fissure and anal fistula. Severe fibrosis and proliferation of anal papilla are also called anal papillary fibroids. Although TCM does not have this disease name, its clinical manifestations have been described for a long time, and it is included in the hemorrhoids, called grape hemorrhoids.
