Pediatric cutaneous mucosal lymph node syndrome

Skin and mucosal lymph node syndrome, also known as Kawasaki syndrome, is an acute systemic vasculitis that is mainly caused by infants and young children. In 1967, Dr. Kawasaki of Japan summarized 50 cases with persistent fever, rash, and lymphadenitis from 1961 to 1967, and named the disease cutaneous mucosal lymph node syndrome and reported it first. Since then, it has been discovered that Kawasaki disease is not a benign disease, and many children die of cardiovascular disease. In fact, Kawasaki disease has become one of the two main causes of childhood acquired cardiovascular disease, and in many places its risk is even greater than rheumatic fever.
