Sudden deafness

Sudden deafness is also known as idiopathic deafness or deafness. That is, in the absence of tinnitus and deafness, sudden and instantaneous tinnitus and deafness of unknown cause. Hearing loss reaches its peak within hours or days. Involving more than one ear, the incidence is high in adults aged 40 to 60, with 1% of patients with binaural ears, more men, and more susceptible to spring and autumn. The incidence rate was 10.7 per 100,000 according to Byl (1977). The hearing clinic statistics of Beijing Tongren Hospital accounted for 4.8% of newly diagnosed sensorineural hearing loss. According to recent internal and external literature reports, the disease appears to have a gradual increase.
