Tropical stomatitis diarrhea

Tropical oral diarrhea (tropical sprue), also known as tropical fatty diarrhea, is caused by excessive reproduction of bacteria in the jejunum, causing changes in the structure and function of the mucosa. Malabsorption can occur in the later stage. Clinical manifestations include diarrhea and multiple nutritional deficiencies. Tropical epidemic.
