Gastrolith

Gastrolith is a gastrointestinal tract that takes in certain plant components or swallows hair or foreign substances such as calcium carbonate, barium, and bismuth that condense in the stomach. The clinical symptoms and signs of patients with gastrolith are related to the size, shape, nature of gastrolith and the degree of influence on human digestive and motor functions. The patient may be completely asymptomatic, and may also have epigastric discomfort, loss of appetite, bad breath, nausea, vomiting or varying degrees of bloating and abdominal pain.
