Kaschin-Beck disease

Kaschin-Beck disease is Kaschin-Beck disease. It is an endemic cartilage and bone joint deformity, which is a deformed osteoarthritis mainly caused by cartilage necrosis. It mostly occurs in children and adolescents, mainly invading the bones and joint systems of children and adolescents, leading to endochondral osteogenesis disorders, shortening of tubular bones, and secondary deformable joint disease. Causes tubular long bone developmental disorders, joint thickening, pain, muscle relaxation, atrophy, and dyskinesia. Patients are characterized by short stature, short fingers, joint deformities, and abnormal gait (typically lameness, duck step). The disease is still called "dwarf disease", "abacus disease", "willow child disease" and so on.
