Giant

Newborns who are overweight (equal to or greater than 4,000 grams) are medically called "giant". In the 1980s, the number of giant children was only about 3%. With the rapid economic development in recent years, the material living standard has become higher and higher, and the average birth weight of newborns has increased. At the beginning of this century, it has reached 7% -8%. In particular, the eastern coastal areas have reached 10%, and individual hospitals have reached 12.5%.
