Upper limb arterial function test

The upper limb arterial function test is an auxiliary test used to check whether the arterial blood vessels are normal. Normal arteries of upper limbs are normal in structure and function, blood supply in both hands is abundant, and skin is flushed. After applying pressure to the palm skin and subcutaneous tissue, the skin may temporarily become slightly pale, and the flushing will soon return after the pressure is removed. When the arteries of the upper limbs are occluded or spasm, blood flow in both hands is reduced, palms are obviously pale after compression, and the time to restore flushing after decompression is significantly longer than normal people. Through this examination, the corresponding symptoms can be judged.
