Sacral cyst

Introduction

Introduction The sacral cyst is a tumor-like lesion of the tibia, which is the cyst of the lumbar humerus. The wall of the capsule is a fibrous envelope with a yellow or brown liquid inside the capsule. Generally no obvious symptoms, most of them due to pathological fractures, pain, swelling, dysfunction and treatment, X-ray film found the disease. Most of the patients were found to have local swelling, swelling, tenderness, and inactivity due to pathological fractures caused by trauma. A small number of cases showed local mass or bone thickening, joint activity was normal, muscles were slightly atrophied, and patients in the lower limbs occasionally limp.

Cause

Cause

The exact cause is unknown, and there are many doctrines. Mirra speculates that a small number of synovial cells with secretory function in the embryonic period will fall into the bone, resulting in the accumulation of synovial fluid and the formation of bone cysts.

The lesions were found by X-ray film. The radiographs showed cystic signal lesions in the spinal canal. The irregular shape of the lesions was limited. There was a clear boundary between the bone and the normal bone, and the cortical bone expanded and thinned. Pathological examination can confirm the diagnosis, X-ray examination can find the erosion of the tibia bone, mainly manifested as the expansion of the fistula, the posterior margin of the vertebral body is a fan-like lace-like change. CT examination clearly shows bone destruction and space-occupying lesions, especially for the tibia.

Diagnosis

Differential diagnosis

Bone cyst is a tumor-like lesion of the bone, also known as solitary bone cyst, simple bone cyst. The wall of the capsule is a fibrous capsule with yellow or brown liquid inside, no obvious symptoms, or low back pain, or lesions found by X-ray film.
