Generally, the breast is deformed and sagging, and the original hemispherical or conical shape is lost. The position of the nipple moves downward, and the breast is atrophied or proliferated to varying degrees.

Diagnosis

Differential diagnosis

Differential diagnosis of postpartum chest sagging:

1, big breasts: big breast disease, also known as breast hypertrophy, large breasts or giant breasts, refers to excessive breast development of women, containing glandular and fat connective tissue hyperproliferation, volume is abnormal, and the body is obviously out of tune. Chest compression can occur, chronic mastitis, pain, heavy shoulder pain and skin erosion under the breast. Big breast disease is more common in adolescent girls or young women, often on both sides, occasionally limited to one side.

2, the sagging of the chest: the sagging of the chest is what we call the sagging breast. The intersection of the lower edge of the breast and the surface of the torso is called the under-recession of the breast. Under reasonable circumstances, especially for young women, the horizontal position of the nipple is above the fold of the breast, and if it falls below it is the so-called sagging breast. The more severe the sag, the lower it falls.
