greasy scaling

Introduction

Introduction The scales are the stratum corneum that is shed or about to fall off. Seborrheic dermatitis usually occurs in the area where the sebaceous glands are abundantly distributed. It occurs on the basis of sebum overflow. It often spreads downward from the head. It has oily scaly yellow-red patches with clear boundaries, symmetric distribution, and conscious pruritus. Easy to recurrent. The normal epidermis contains three layers of cells: keratinocytes, pigment forming cells, and Langerhans cells. Among them, keratinocytes are associated with this disease. Keratinocytes are composed of 5 layers of cells, namely: basal layer, spinous layer, granular layer, transparent layer and stratum corneum. The growth cycle of the five-layer cells is generally about 12 days, and finally the stratum corneum is formed, which falls off as the nucleus disappears.

Cause

The cause of greasy scales:

The normal epidermis contains three layers of cells: keratinocytes, pigment forming cells, and Langerhans cells. Among them, keratinocytes are associated with this disease. Keratinocytes are composed of 5 layers of cells, namely: basal layer, spinous layer, granular layer, transparent layer and stratum corneum. The growth cycle of the five-layer cells is generally about 12 days, and finally the stratum corneum is formed, which falls off as the nucleus disappears. When the skin has inflammation and other damage, the growth and metabolism of the epidermis is accelerated, and the cycle is shortened, so that normal keratinogenesis is disturbed, parakeratosis occurs, and the cell nucleus enters the keratinized layer, but the keratin is not dense and loosely forms scales.
