Examination and diagnosis of eyelid abscess:
1. The eyelids and the conjunctiva are highly edematous, with induration or abscess formation.
2. Before the ear or to the lymph nodes.
3. Increased body temperature.
4. Increased white blood cell count.
5. Can be complicated by septic venous inflammation caused by cavernous sinus embolization.

Symptoms of eyelid abscess confusing:
Eyelid edema: The eyelid skin is the thinnest part of the skin, and the subcutaneous tissue is loose, so it is prone to fluid accumulation and edema. The edematous purple-red spot on the upper eyelid is a typical skin lesion of dermatomyositis. The edematous purple-red spot on the upper eyelid spread to the periorbital area and gradually spread to the V-shaped area of the face, neck and upper chest. The elbow and elbow, especially the metacarpophalangeal joint and the metatarsophalangeal joint, appear purple-red papules with telangiectasia, hypopigmentation, overlying fine scales, called Gottron (Gordon) sign or Grottron papules.
