Coccyx tenderness and abnormal movement

Introduction

Introduction Anal pain diagnosis of the anus can have tenderness and abnormal activity of the tailbone, sometimes touching the fracture end and displacement.

Cause

Cause

Causes of tenderness and abnormal activity of the tailbone:

(1) Causes of the disease

The cause is unknown and may be related to trauma and deformity.

(two) pathogenesis

The detailed mechanism of the disease is still unclear, based on clinical data analysis. It is related to the following factors:

1. Trauma: The most common, including tail bone fracture, dislocation or general trauma can be caused. In addition to early symptoms of trauma, local cases can also persist with localized pain for several months.

2. Malformation: Congenital caudal vertebra deformity is mostly hook-shaped. This state will inevitably cause high tension state of surrounding muscles and ligaments, causing these tissues to cause pain due to premature degeneration. Therefore, the factors causing the disease are less common than before.

3. Others: There are a variety of factors that can cause this disease, including central lumbar disc herniation, ankle tumor or cyst, pedicle collapse with slippage and many other factors.

Depending on the cause of the disease, the cause of the fracture is due to the fracture of the tailbone. Because the distal end of the fracture is pulled forward or laterally by the traction of the tail muscle and levator ani muscle, pain occurs. The pain is lighter when standing or lying, and the pain is aggravated when sitting or using the stool; and there is tenderness in the local area. Anal finger examination may have tenderness and abnormal activity of the tailbone, sometimes touching the fracture end and displacement. For other reasons, the symptoms are mostly mild, especially in cases of congenital and long-term illness.

According to clinical manifestations, X-ray examination can assist in diagnosis.

Diagnosis

Differential diagnosis
