Decidual response

Introduction

Introduction Under the stimulation of blastocyst implantation and progesterone, the endometrium is further thickened, the spiral artery located deep in the blastocyst implant is enlarged, the wall is thickened, the capillaries are widely expanded, and the blood supply is more abundant. The glandular gland is thick and curved, and the mucus and glycogen accumulate in the gland, the secretion is more vigorous, and the connective tissue cells are hypertrophied. This series of changes is called the decidual reaction. Endometrial interstitial fibroblasts have the potential to proliferate and re-differentiate. After the ovarian hormones are fully coordinated, the endometrium can be decidual-like if it is stimulated by the decidual response. The decidualization process is accompanied by a series of adaptive changes in endometrial epithelial cells, mesenchymal cells, cell formation, extracellular matrix, and vascular structures.

Cause

Cause

Causes of decidual reaction:

The decidual response-inducing factor acts on the luminal epithelial cells, which in turn produce an informational substance acting on the subepithelial stromal cells. The endometrium is further thickened, and the spiral artery at the deep part of the blastocyst is enlarged, and the wall thickens. The capillary vessels are widely expanded, the blood supply is more abundant, and the expression of specific genes and proteins is induced, which promotes the proliferation and differentiation of mesenchymal cells, and exhibits the morphological and functional characteristics of the decidual cells.

Abdominal MRI examination of blood routine cervical scraping (TCT)

Diaphragm reaction check: cervical examination can be diagnosed.

Diagnosis

Differential diagnosis

The decidual response should identify whether it is an ectopic pregnancy.

Ectopic pregnancy: When the pregnancy is normal, the fertilized egg is implanted in the endometrium of the uterus. When the fertilized egg is implanted in a part other than the body cavity of the uterus, it is called an ectopic pregnancy, and is called an ectopic pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancy is slightly different from the meaning of ectopic pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancy refers only to pregnancy outside the uterus and cannot include ectopic pregnancy occurring in the cervix or uterus. Cervical examination can be diagnosed.
