breast sclerosis

Introduction

Introduction Prosthesis after breast augmentation caused by fibrous capsule contracture caused by breast sclerosis (hereinafter referred to as breast sclerosis) is one of the most common complications. In addition to the hardening of the hand, the shape also changes, and even severe pain and discomfort are given. The surgeon brings a heavy mental burden.

Cause

Diagnosis can be based on clinical signs. Ultrasound examination of the breast: 1. Determine whether there is a lump in the breast and its size and position. 2. Determine if the mass is cystic or solid. 3. Identify breast lumps that are benign or malignant. 4. Interventional ultrasound application: ultrasound guided puncture cytology and tissue biopsy. 5. Follow-up examination of the breast mass, postoperative examination, observation of conservative treatment of breast cancer.

Diagnosis

Differential diagnosis

Breast hardening needs to be identified as follows:

Breast tumors, surface and border lumps of various shapes, generally irregular shape, also visible round, oval and so on. Obese or lumps are located deeper in the posterior part of the breast. The mass is often flattened or localized gland thickened, the surface is not smooth or grainy, and the boundary is unclear.

In breast cancer, the mass of early breast cancer is generally small, and sometimes it is difficult to distinguish from lobular hyperplasia or some benign lesions. However, even small lumps sometimes involve the suspensory ligament of the breast, causing local skin depression or nipple retraction, which is easier to detect early. In the past, when the level of medical care was poor, the lumps were often large when coming to the clinic. Diagnosis can be based on clinical signs.
