Laryngeal spasm

Introduction

Introduction Found in tetanus, rabies and so on. 1. The following complications can occur in tetanus: 1 asphyxia: due to persistent paralysis of the respiratory muscles of the throat and obstruction of the trachea; 2 pulmonary infections: throat paralysis, poor respiratory tract, septic secretion of the bronchus, inability to turn over often, etc. It is the cause of pneumonia and atelectasis. 2, rabies: If the animal catches and bites the skin of the human, the rabies virus in its saliva will enter the human body with the damaged skin, and the symptoms of rabies will appear in a short period of 1-2 months. If you are excited, afraid, hear the sound of water or see the water, a strong throat sputum occurs.

Examine

an examination

Tetanus diagnosis:

1. The patient has a history of open injury infection, or the umbilical cord disinfection of the newborn is not strict, postpartum infection, history of surgery.

2. The performance of the prodromal period is weak, headache, hard tongue, inconvenient swallowing and unsatisfactory rotation of the head and neck.

3. Typical manifestations of muscle persistent tonic contraction and paroxysmal convulsions, initial chewing inconvenience, masticatory muscle tension, painful rigidity, difficulty opening mouth, bitter smile face, difficulty swallowing, stiff neck, angulation, difficulty breathing, nervous And even suffocate.

4. Slight stimuli (glare, wind, sound, vibration, etc.) can induce seizures.

5. Local type tetanus, muscle tonic contraction is limited to the vicinity of the wound or injured limb, the general incubation period is longer, the symptoms are lighter, and the prognosis is better.

Diagnosis of rabies:

Mainly diagnosed according to the clinical symptoms of rabies. When the symptoms of the prodromal period are not obvious, it is generally difficult to diagnose. Ask if there is a history of bite, or if there is any abnormality in the wound to help diagnose. If there is a typical fear of water or pharyngeal fistula, it is not difficult to diagnose.
