Introduction Otogenic tetanus: common in chronic otitis media infection, or infection of the external auditory canal. It is a special type of tetanus. Tetanus is a disease in which a wound is infected with tetanus and produces exotoxin, causing temporary changes in the central nervous system. Those with milder conditions can still use high-heat fluid or mushy fluid. Closed teeth should be fasted, intravenous infusion such as hypertonic glucose, fat emulsion, multivitamins, albumin and so on. Nasal feeding tubes are forbidden to prevent foreign body from stimulating the nasopharynx, throat and throat to induce tendons and throat.
