Pericardial puncture and drainage

Pericardial puncture drainage is often used to determine the nature and pathogen of the effusion. When the suppurative effusion has a pericardial tamping sign, it can puncture the pus, release the liquid to relieve the symptoms, and inject the drug into the pericardium. Treatment of diseases: pericardial pericardial effusion Indication Pericarditis with effusion should be checked by fluid to determine the cause of the disease, a large amount of effusion with pericardial tamponade or need to be pericardial interventional therapy. Preoperative preparation Antibiotics are routinely used before surgery. X-ray and/or ultrasound examination should be performed before surgery to determine the puncture site and the estimated degree of fluid accumulation; those with less fluid accumulation should not be treated.
