Surgical procedure 1. Place a fixed eyeball suture through the conjunctiva and superficial sclera at 12 points on the limbus to pull the eyeball down. In the upper quadrant of the eyeball, it extends outward from the temporal side of the upper rectus adhesion point, making a 5~8mm long conjunctival incision parallel to the limbus, penetrating the conjunctiva and the fascia. The superior rectus muscle is pulled to the nasal side to expose the point of attachment of the superior oblique muscle. The superior oblique muscle tendon is divided into the front and the back by a squint hook. 2. Place the 5-0 absorbable suture on the anterior tendon 2 to 3 mm from the attachment point. The anterior tendon is cut by the attachment point. 3. Sew it on the sclera 5 to 8 mm forward. The new attachment point of the broken end is located just on the temporal side of the superior rectus muscle.
