Frontal sinus osteoplasty and fat packing

The surgery was first reported by Schonborn (1894) and Breiger (1895). They turned the frontal sinus bone flap up and used the transplanted fat to occlude the sinus cavity, which was called frontal sinus osteoplasty. Preoperative preparation Antibiotics are routinely used before surgery.
