Repair of scar contracture deformity in joints

Most of the scars in the joints can cause flexion contracture. The main purpose of treatment is to relieve the flexion contracture deformity and restore the joint's extension and flexion function. The scars are light and scorpion-like, and the upper and lower limbs can be glued together. At the same time, due to the small age at the time of burn, the scar formation time is long, often causing shortening of tendons, blood vessels and nerves. Treatment of diseases: congenital multiple joint contracture Indication Most of the scars in the joints can cause flexion contracture, cord-like or sacral scar contracture, and severe scar contracture. Surgical procedure A cord-like or hernia-like scar contracture can be repaired with a single or multiple z-forms. If the scar range is wide, z-forming can not completely close the wound, and can be supplemented by medium-thickness skin graft [Fig. 1 (1) ~ (6)]. Heavy-duty scar contracture, after scar removal, loosening and joint extension, the wound is usually repaired with medium-thickness skin graft. In case of tendon or nerve exposure, it can be embedded in surrounding soft tissue. If there is no soft tissue around, it needs to be repaired with a flap. It is never allowed to transplant on bare tendons and nerves.
