Femoral Hernia Repair

Hernia repair is also known as hernia repair in the inguinal region. The advantage of this method is that it reveals that the femoral ring is more adequate, and it is more satisfactory for the repair of femoral hernias (such as clamped and strangulated femoral hernia). Treatment of diseases: femoral hernia Indication Femoral patients. Preoperative preparation Antibiotics are routinely used before surgery. Surgical procedure 1, the incision and inguinal hernia repair. Cut the skin, subcutaneous tissue and the external oblique aponeurosis. Significant joint sputum and inguinal ligament. Retract the spermatic cord (or uterine round ligament) inward and upward. In the inferior orbital wall of the abdominal wall, the transverse fascia is opened, and the underlying extraperitoneal adipose tissue is pushed open, that is, the neck of the hernia sac above the femoral ring is exposed. The inner side is a sac ligament, the outer side is a femoral vein, and the upper part is the inguinal ligament. It is the pubic ligament. 2. Lift the sac to lift up and bluntly separate the surrounding tissue. At the same time, use the fingers to push the block up to the top in the stock, and push the whole block out of the stock ring. 3. Cut the anterior wall of the sac and check the contents of the sputum for necrosis. If there is no necrosis, it can be returned to the abdominal cavity; if the intestine has necrosis, the necrotic intestine should be removed and the anastomosis should be performed. 4, the sac is peeled off to the neck, high-end purse stitching in the neck, tighten the seam and wrap around a circle and then ligature. 5. Cut off the excess sac wall at a distance of about 0.5 cm from the purse. If the bowel resection and anastomosis is performed in the incision, the wound is fully washed with saline and antibiotic solution, and the joint iliac crest, pubic ligament and inguinal ligament are sutured together to close the femoral ring. If the inguinal ligament has been severed, it should be sutured first. If the wound is obviously contaminated, it is advisable to do an extended hernia repair.
