Inverted flap amputation

The advantage of open amputation is that the drainage is smooth, which is good for treating wound infections, but the retraction of the skin often causes difficulties in post-processing. The main significance of flap involution or valgus amputation is to preserve the skin in the early stages of amputation, creating a condition for preparing for the final closure of the wound. Treatment of diseases: lower limb nerve injury Indication 1. Infected limbs must be treated with open amputation. 2. After early debridement, the stump skin remains and the blood circulation is good. Surgical procedure 1. Thorough debridement, try to remove all inactivated tissue, remove all foreign bodies, and treat large blood vessels and nerve trunks with general amputation. 2. The bone stump should not exceed the muscle plane. According to the functional requirements, the muscle stump should be properly fixed to cover the bone stump to prevent the bone from being exposed. Skin should be preserved when the skin is debrided. 3. The skin with blood on the stump is wound from the outside to the inside, and the edges of the skin are intermittently fixed by a few needles. The skin can also be turned outwards like a daily sleeve, and a gauze roll is placed on the skin fold of the fold-out skin to prevent the skin from becoming too large to affect the blood supply, and the edge of the flap that is turned outward should be intermittently fixed. 4. The open wound is wrapped with a sterile dressing.
