Modified Elbow Arthrodesis

Modified elbow fixation first cuts off the olecranon eagle, and flips it with the triceps. Make a bone groove on the back of the lower end of the humerus. Place the bone piece in the groove and cross the joint. Put it back into the olecranon and clip the bone piece in the middle with a long screw for better stability. Treatment of diseases: dislocation of the elbow joint Indication Dislocation of the elbow joint. Preoperative preparation Prepare routinely before surgery. Surgical procedure Incision After the mid-median incision, the ulnar nerve was found in the medial condyle of the humerus at the back of the elbow. 2. Exposing the joint Before using the electric saw or bone knife to traverse the olecranon, drill the hole in the bone marrow from the top of the olecranon with a hand drill, so as to put it back into the olecranon and screw it into the long screw. After the olecranon is cut off, it is turned to the proximal end together with the triceps to reveal the joint. 3. Bone fixation Use a round chisel to cut the cartilage surface of the trochlear and olecranon socket, and cut a 8 cm long and 2.5 cm wide bone groove with a chainsaw or a bone knife on the back of the lower end of the humerus. Cut a bone piece 10 cm long and 2.5 cm wide from the anterior aspect of the humerus. Maintain elbow flexion 90°, forearm pronation 15°20°, place the bone piece across the elbow joint in the trough, put back the olecranon to clamp the bone piece, fix the proximal end to the humerus with screws, and use the long screw at the distal end. Fixed ulna. 4. Stitching and fixing The layered suture incision, that is, the shoulder "man" word plaster fixed, the distal end of the plaster to the proximal side of the finger joint. Postoperative diet 1. Give high protein, high vitamin and cellulose-rich digestible diet. 2, do not eat spicy spicy food.
