Gastric acid lactic acid qualitative test

Under normal circumstances, the amount of lactic acid in the fasting gastric juice is extremely small. Lactic acid is a weak organic acid that cannot be separated when the acidity of the gastric juice is normal, so the qualitative test is negative. When the gastric juice is in a low acid or acid-free state, the food mashes through the bacteria to produce lactic acid, which increases the lactic acid content in the stomach acid. Basic Information Specialist classification: Digestive examination classification: physical examination Applicable gender: whether men and women apply fasting: fasting Analysis results: Below normal: Normal value: no Above normal: negative: It is negative under normal conditions. Positive: Positive in gastric cancer, pyloric obstruction, atrophic gastritis, chronic gastric dilatation and so on. Tips: Eliminate tension and try to get the stomach juice with your doctor. Normal value negative. Clinical significance Positive in gastric cancer, pyloric obstruction, atrophic gastritis, chronic gastric dilatation and so on. Positive results may be diseases: lactic acidosis, pyloric obstruction, gastric cancer, atrophic gastritis precautions When the amount of basal gastric acid secretion is reduced, or the pH of gastric acid is >3.5, it is meaningful to carry out a qualitative test of lactic acid. Inspection process 1. Remove the gastric juice and check it. 2. Take 15ml of phenol solution and add 3 drops of ferric chloride solution. After mixing, the liquid is purple-red. This solution was added to 5 ml of each of the measuring tube, the positive control tube and the negative control tube for testing. 3. Add 6 to 7 drops of gastric juice to the tube, add 6 to 7 drops of 1 mol/L lactic acid to the positive control tube, and add 6 to 7 drops of 0.1 mol/L HCl to the negative control tube. After mixing, compare the color of each tube. 4. The positive control tube should be bright yellow, and the negative control tube purple can be slightly reduced. After comparing the measuring tube with the Yin and Yang control tubes, the negative and positive results are judged and reported. Not suitable for the crowd Patients with gastric perforation. Adverse reactions and risks Mucosal injury: Avoid excessive exertion when removing gastric juice from the gastric tube to avoid damage to the nasal cavity and esophageal mucosa.
